Preparing a Caffé with a MOKA Machine

Three main essential principles are vital to succeed for making a perfect Italian Caffé on a Moka machine (Coffee Stove Top).

  • Still mineral water or chlorine free water
  • Genuine Italian Moka machine
  • Coffee blend roasted and blended from Italy only

1.Pour the still mineral water or chlorine free water up to the valve level. 2. Top up the filter funnel with genuine Italian coffee blend and try to create a cone shape. You can create this by adding coffee with a coffee spoon from the centred part of the filter funnel. The ground coffee will settle down and it will get a cone shape. DO NOT TAMP THE COFFEE DOWN for any reason; the top part of the coffee stove top will do a natural tamping pressure once you will screw it on. 3. Before you screw the top part of the coffee stove make sure you clean the edge part where the top bit of the stove sits and then screws it on. 4. Ensure the heating flame or the electric hob is on low heath setting. This will allow the machine to brew in the perfect condition.
